I can wholeheartedly recommend the Godden Motor Company to anyone looking for a second-hand car. The 2015 Skoda Yeti we bought was very reasonably priced, well prepared, and came with 12 months MOT, 12 months Road Tax, 12 months AA Breakdown Assistance and 3 months comprehensive in-house warranty. Gary the manager was knowledgeable, very helpful, patient and accommodating. It was a pleasure doing business with him. The family-owned company shares the servicing and repair facilities of next door Fratton Bridge Garage, and both are accredited with the AA.

They have dealt with everything to do with my car since I started driving 13 years ago. Never had any issues. Just professional, and friendly, service always. My family have used the garage long before me for many years, and we have always been happy. I purchased a car from Godden Motor Company last week. Everything was perfect. Gary was friendly and helpful from the moment I enquired about the car. He was more than happy to talk to me about the vehicle, offer a test drive. We felt no pressure at all, and felt comfortable to ask all questions. We decided to move forward with the purchase and everything was great. The whole process went so smoothly and we are over the moon. We part exchanged our old car and were more than happy with the price offered. When we collected our new car, everything was perfect. I feel comforted and reassured buying a vehicle from this company. They have a great reputation and my first hand experience has always been great. Very grateful to Gary and Godden Motor Company for all your help and for going above and beyond, as always. I would Highly recommend this place! Gary is extremely friendly, professional and helpful from start to finish, all staff go above and beyond to help and satisfy polite and a joy. They all go thar extra mile thank you for all your help you are amazing not like any other garage.

Highly recommended. Professional and friendly service. Gary was really helpful when purchasing a car. Few hiccups along the way but Gary was quick to resolve them and I’m really happy with the car. Fratton garage will now be my go to when looking for a car.

Buying a car is a nerve-wracking experience for anyone - but this garage is proof it need not be. I acquired a Volvo V60 from Gary and Alan, and from the initial call through to purchase and vehicle familiarisation, they made the entire process a real pleasure with their transparency, duty of care and attention. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I recently had a badly responding engine in my Ford Focus. A number of my colleagues recommended Fratton Bridge Garage for a service. The ONLY garage that I have 100% confidence in their abilities. And their pricing, not mechanics but engineers. They have looked after my car's from Holden to Lexus, Smart to Mazda. I have recommended them especially to my female friend who have been delighted with their experiences. In short I cannot fault then.

This garage is really exceptional. My son was on his way to his driving test when our car developed a fault. Alan, Gary and their team bent over backwards to help us get our car fixed. Friendly, reliable and trustworthy, can't recommend them highly enough!
